Wat Chayamangkalaram is a Thai Buddhist temple built in 1845 on land granted by Queen Victoria as a gesture of goodwill to Thailand. The temple has one of the largest Reclining Buddha statues in the world. Spectacular to behold, the statue is completely gold-plated and measures 33 metres in lenght. You can also appreciate the magnificent craftsmanship in the exquisite statues of Devas and other mythical creatures located on the temple grounds.
